Rancho Bernardo High:
Founded in 1991, Rancho Bernardo was the third high school established in the Poway Unified School District. Since its inception, Rancho Bernardo is renowned for its academic performance, athletic teams, and music programs. A strong synergy between teachers, staff, and students is what has led to and what continues to lead to continued success at our school. We are very grateful to have the support of the administration in helping re-established the business program.
Class: Business Principles and Strategies
The only business-based class currently offered, Business Principles and Strategies marks the restart of business being taught at RB. Throughout the course, students will learn essential topics in business, economics, personal finance, and marketing; all topics that will be crucial to students' future lives. This leads to students having an increased understanding of budgeting, investing, business ethics, and more. Through enrolling in this class, students will meet the requirements to participate in all official DECA-related competitions and events.
Next Gen Personal Finance is one of the top business-finance curriculum used by teachers across the United States. It's integration into the Business Principles and Strategies curriculum provides students with the ability to enhance their learning.
